Lori didn’t know the answer to your question, so she forwarded me your email. Our lab does only test for ethanol in blood and urine for our toxicology section. I do not know how/why it was set up that way when the lab was started, but it was. We have looked into opening a full-service toxicology lab, but it wasn’t worth the amount of money and work for the few samples that we would be testing. The bulk of our work is doing drug chemistry, but we’re also trained in ethanol toxicology too.
