UTAK- Question about your testing

Hi Sean,
I hope the start of pumpkin spice season is treating you well. Over the more than decade your lab has been using UTAK products we have seen some changes in your order history. In the past we saw you ordering some Vitamin D QC’s, a wider range of metals controls, MMA and more that we don’t see you ordering any longer. But there is also Lead, Immunosuppressants and defibrinated plasma that the lab has used continuously over this period.
I am trying to get an understanding why your lab has stuck with some products over the years but not others. Any insights you can share on why you change controls, and what else you may be doing for QC I would really appreciate it. Not a sales tactic here- rather a genuine interest to understand how labs make decisions on controls. Bonus points- if your up for a catch up, I would love to chat and learn a bit more.
