Thanks so much for this insight! I super appreciate it, and it makes total sense. If we don’t have it ready to go that you went elsewhere. Our issues with blood inventory have been resolved and we generally have this on hand now. Should you ever have a future need I would love to connect and support you.

Hi Andrew –
If I remember correctly, I think the lead time was too long for our short-term projects. We often run 6-month SBIR-funded programs, and so waiting 1-2 months for blood just isn’t an option. We switched to sourcing from BioIVT and are typically able to get pooled blood in 1-2 weeks. Hope that helps!
