I'll get a PO sent out soon. For the PETh QC, I spoke with my coordinator and he mentioned that we had tried UTAK PEth QC before however we found some interfering peaks that confounded interpretation. We are happy to try again though, in hopes of not having to make our own QC. 1. Matrix = whole blood, ideally free of endogenous PEth. We do adjust our calibrators for endogenous PEth so maybe that's something we can do here as well if it is not possible to get clean blood. 2. We use around 200uL of each level per day. What's the stability of the QC refrigerated? That will inform vial size. 3. At 200uL per weekday for 52 weeks we're looking at around 52mL per year. Obviously we'd need some wiggle room in case of having to repeat runs, etc. So probably 75mL per level per year. 4. Analyte is phosphatidylethanol 16:0/18:1. Our target concentrations are 50ng/mL, 200ng/mL and 800ng/mL. Thank you, Emma Melendez Scherer (she/her), M.S. MLS (ASCP)CM
