Happy Friday! Hope the both of you have something fun and/or relaxing planned for this weekend.
My team shared one possible path forward should this ever be of interest in the future. The only option moving ahead would be matrix/sample approvals prior to receiving lots. This could be done with either stock or custom materials.
Stock products and their corresponding samples are generally preferred, though that would depend on lot availability. Alternatively, we could pursue matrix samples for customs, which would still allow us to use the blood for other products if the matrix were to be rejected.
Down the line, this approach could also open the possibility of single donor units, though that would depend on feasibility and quantity, so I wouldn’t want to set that expectation at this stage.
No pressure at all - I just wanted to share what our team outlined as a potential solution for the future.
