Hi, good afternoon.
0:04 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
Yes, I can't hear you.
0:06 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories)
Great. Good afternoon. How are you? How are you doing? Doing great. How about you?
0:10 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
I'm doing very well. Thanks so much for joining us on the call here.
0:14 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories)
just figured some things would be easier to chat through, especially since you have an order in. So we just didn't want to get into a situation where we weren't, you know, providing communication with the service needed, too. So really appreciate you carving out the time.
0:28 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
And I appreciate you giving me the time to at least, you know, talk about what's been going on about this self-control that we've been going. Sorry, I can't turn on my camera. My camera's broken. So sorry in advance. But I believe, yeah, so I believe we're talking about item number one, seven, zero, one, one. We received it back in July. And my lab text now just called out October, like three months after we received it, it's already expiring. Can we get something with a minimum shelf life of one year? you. Sure. And I want to see if that's possible with these controls that we have.
1:04 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories)
Yeah, great. And let us know if you'd like us to turn our cameras off, too, so we're not staring at you. But so we actually have a temporary shortened shelf life for that exact product for our validity, too. So that was like the crux of what I wanted to express on our call today. And thank you for, you know, your understanding in advance. So we actually, after some testing, recognized that we had mold in the product. And with shortening that expiration to a six-month shelf life, which is very curtailed, that's really the only way we're able to continue selling this product. So, you know, completely hear you that that's not operable for you and your team. It is for other customers of ours, too, which is why we, you know, haven't pulled it from the shelf entirely. But knowing that. You do have an order, and I did want to express that we do have to have a shortened six-month shelf life for this product at this stage. We don't have a definitive timeline for when we'll be able to go back to that normal, healthy 24-month shelf life. But the good news is we are wrapping up stability testing, and we believe that we have made the corrections so that soon we're able to return to that 24-month shelf life. So kind of knowing that we're only able to provide six months at this stage, is that something where you'd like to cancel your open order with us? We're perfectly fine either way. Again, we just want to make sure you're aware of what's going on with this validity to control. How many do we have order?
2:46 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
So how many do we have on order? I believe we only have about five on order right now.
2:53 - Aline Arias
You ordered, I think, six more of those vials, or five more of those vials. Let me just check. Here real quickly. Yeah, five additional vials are what you ordered. So we have that in. We're holding the bottles for you in case you do want them. But I'll go ahead and share what the current lot expiry is, too. So I think that'll be helpful in making that decision. So right now, the lot that we have available, it does expire in March of 2026.
3:26 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
Okay, you know what? Well, thank you for giving me a notice about the short and shelf life, but I like to reduce it to two. Okay, I can do that for you. Keep the field open at six, shift two, and then we'll get the other four when the new lot comes. Can you guys, oh, you guys heard that? A little bit.
3:46 - Aline Arias
A little bit, yes. because they're nodding their head and they're like, okay, okay, we can do that.
3:51 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
It's Bob. It's Steve's handling it. just, I don't know why I always got to stick my two cents. But the, if, if, if. He's got the P.O. for six. Let's take two so we don't have to throw anything out, and then when the new lot comes in, we'll take in the four with the new lot number. And if we need anything in between that, if we need another bottle before the new lot comes out, we know that in its before March, we'll take one more. Is that good? Kind of use it as a blanket order. Yeah.
4:25 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories)
Aline, does that sound like something you're able to get set up for the team here? Yes.
4:29 - Aline Arias
I just want to confirm you guys are looking to have two shipped out as soon as possible and then just kind of fold the remaining three vials. Is that what you're asking for? Yes.
4:42 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
Okay. Yeah, we can do that.
4:44 - Aline Arias
We can do that no problem at all. I just need to know in about how much time you think you need to use up those two vials, and then I can set a ship date for the new lot to go out for that remaining three. very much. You
5:01 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
So, to go through those two, it would take about two to three months. Two to three months. Okay.
5:07 - Aline Arias
So, I'll set the shift date for the second release with the three vials for two to three months from now, and I'll go ahead and try to get those two vials out to you today so they'd be delivering on Friday. All right. That sounds great.
5:23 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
Awesome. Thanks, Selene.
5:25 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories)
And Steven and team over there, too, you know, it goes without saying, but I'll personally keep you updated on the shelf life extension since we're, again, wrapping up stability testing. So, I'll feed forward that information to you all, too.
5:41 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
Yeah, I'll extend the information to my tech so they're aware of, you know, the short shelf life, but I do appreciate the transparency. Yeah, of course.
5:50 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories)
While we had you on the call, you know, you expressed that in the email communication, like that year requirement. That's something that we can build into your account to be. certain is that moving forward, none of the products released to you and your team do have anything less than a one-year shelf life. And I just wanted to gather if that was for all of the products that your team purchases from UTAK.
6:14 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
Well, it depends on the shelf life for the products we purchase at UTAK. Is it just this one item, the 17011 with a minimum shelf life of six months, everything else can be more than a year? Yeah, correct.
6:26 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories)
Yep.
6:27 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
Then I would like to put those on my account. So if something's less than that shelf life, just reach out for approval and I'll let you know if that's okay or not, I can reduce it, so on and so forth. You got it.
6:37 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories)
Yeah, and the good news, too, is we've started, we've moved to a different manufacturing methodology. And so we're really expecting that for our off-the-shelf products, we're not seeing anything less than 18 months, just because we're also hearing that that shelf life is, you know, very needed on behalf of our customers. So we'll make that note just as a fail-safe. But the good news is we're changing our manufacturing methods to even get beyond that year, Mark. That's great news. I'm looking forward to that.
7:08 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
Yeah, us too.
7:13 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories)
Awesome. Hey, well, so action items from our end, we have that order squared away. Sounds like those two vials are going to go out on Friday. I'll keep you abreast of any changes with the Valide 2 expiration when we are expecting that to go back to that normal, healthy 24-month shelf life. Is there anything else that we can help you all with?
7:33 - Steven Ross (Accureference)
As for right now, no, you helped me enough. Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate you taking the time. Yeah, of course.
7:39 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories)
Likewise. Hey, well, have a great rest of your week and happy Halloween. You too. Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
7:46 - Aline Arias
Thank you.
