0:01 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
I'm good.
0:02 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
How are you? I'm doing great.
0:05 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
I'm feeling like I messed up. I should have scheduled this as an in-person meeting. It's freezing here this morning. Are you guys sunny and warm over there? Yep. Sunny.
0:17 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
It's 70-something right now. I woke up in the 30s.
0:25 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Tis the season, I guess.
0:27 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
That's how I'm going to feel in the next two days. Are you guys getting some cold weather? Yeah, because we're going to fly out to Michigan Wednesday. Oh, okay. Yeah.
0:40 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
A family trip or what are you doing up there? Yeah. Visit my family.
0:45 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
Awesome. Yeah, definitely pack warm.
0:47 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
It's hard to go from a warm climate to a cold climate. think it's easier the other way. Okay. Well, are you able to see my screen? You know what? Did you send me...
1:01 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
I haven't sent them to you yet.
1:03 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
I was going to send them right after this meeting. Oh, okay. Because I said, did you send it to me that I didn't see?
1:09 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
Oh, no. I'm sharing screen.
1:11 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Are you able to see my screen? Yep. Okay, perfect. So we have two quotes. One is for the QC, and then one is going to be for the calibrators. So they're going to look pretty similar. So we'll kind of go through the deep details on the QC, and then we'll just kind of do a quick review on the cal and what's different on that one. Okay. Sounds good. So on the left side, if you wanted to move forward with an order, these are the part numbers that you're going to place on the sales order, or sorry, on your purchase order. Okay. We're going to package them in a 0.3 ml fill size and use the 81 place box. So in order to hit our minimum order size of the 50 ml, the minimum order quantity is going to be two boxes of those. So here we have your price per pack, as well as your extended price for the two packs. And then your dry ice and handling charges. Gotcha. You'll also note that there's validation samples on here. So we have like a master agreement with Mayo when we do custom products that before we ship the full product, we always send you three vials of the product after we manufacture it to try it out and make sure that it works right. So you place the order for these, we're going to make it. And before we send you all of them, we're going to send you three vials of each just to try out and give us the thumbs up and say, hey, it's good, ship them, or thumbs down, there's a problem, and then we figure out how to address that. Gotcha. Gotcha. Musilfen is going to be the only analyte that we put in there. We've got 25 days thawed stability. So once you open up a vial, you've got up to 25 days to use it. And then here's the concentrations that we would be spiking them in at for all of the levels. Under special notes, you'll see we have a few notes here. So we're highlighting, we're going to use a separate lot of major. For the QCs and the CALs. We're also going to use a separate source of the analyte and a separate manufacturing technician. So everything will be fully separated. None of it's going to be using the same between the CALs and the QCs.
3:18 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
We're going to make this in a sodium heparin plasma.
3:21 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
The storage conditions are going to be frozen, so you'll want to keep them frozen until you're ready to use. And then this is just kind of some packaging information. So you'll see we use these 81-place cardboard box. I'm not sure if you're familiar with this box, but it's a request from the Rochester location. The vast majority of products we use, Mayo specifically, wants this box. I think so. I think I know what you're talking about. Yeah, it's the little white ones. And then we're also using the 1.5 ml clear self-standing plastic tubes. Again, this is just like a general Mayo has told us that this is what they typically perform. I think... I think it has to do with our automation, so I'm not sure if you're tied to that or not, but that'll be what the kind of vial type would use. And then you'll have the yellow colored caps and a blue label. So the lead time for delivery here is 15 business days after you place the order. Any questions on this initial quote? Nope.
4:22 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
That's good. And how good... Okay. Oh, sorry.
4:27 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Expiration 18 months. I totally skipped it. My apologies. I can try to read your quote.
4:32 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
How long does this quote good for? And you say until February.
4:37 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Oh, yeah. Yeah. I saw that. I saw that. Yeah. Validity of the quote is 90 days, and then expiration of the product is 18 months. So a year and a half to use it after we make it. Okay. And then very similar, this is going to be the quote for the calibrators. So here's part numbers for the calibrators. It's going to be in the same packaging, the same quantities. to to in I'm going It's actually the same cost as well, and then your extended pricing. It's more levels, so the extended pricing is just a little bit higher. But very similar to the last quote, here's going to be your concentrations going into each of those calibrators. We're just noting that it's all going to be totally separate from the QCs. And then same lithium heparin, 18-month expiration, and 15 business days.
5:25 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
And you said with the concentration, if we need to change any value on there, we still can before we order it, right? Correct, yes.
5:33 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Until, once you place the order, you can no longer make changes. But up until we place the order, we are happy to rework this as much as possible. Okay, sounds good. And then for the calibrators, we'll separate those by using white colored caps, and we'll also use blue labels. Okay. Any questions on the calibrators or QC quote? No, this is, look good to me.
6:00 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
I know that you sent me the other quote from MCR, I'm in Rochester, and I didn't even have a chance to talk to them yet, but I'll present this and I'll look at the other one, I'll talk to them too just to see, but what are they paying for that right now? If we tag it on, do we pay with their price? Will they're going to be any lower?
6:24 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
So the more volume that we make in any one production, the better of a per vial price we can get you. So I can't give you like an exact price or an estimate. We would have to find out like how many Rochester wants, how many you want, and then quote that all together to see how that price is out. But almost certainly it is going to be a lower per vial price for you if you can tack on with their order versus ordering it yourself. Okay, so good.
6:55 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
I didn't know if like you ever know what the volume is and what's a minimum volume like that. There's volume, does it make a difference for them, like, you know, they will get lower or not? I believe they are getting a lower price.
7:08 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Let me just see if can pull up that quote really quick. Give me just a minute here. So, admittedly, this is older pricing, because they last ordered this in 2024. They ordered three, and they were getting them for $8.87. Oh, actually, you're getting the same price, because they only ordered three, but if we're upping it to five, like, essentially, they're ordering three and you're ordering Wait, you're looking at my name. You're looking out on my name.
8:02 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
Right here. This one. Okay, okay. So they did.
8:05 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
So they're paying the same price. price. Okay, okay. So actually, yeah, maybe it makes sense for you just to go ahead and order yourself in that case. But if you guys do combine, there's a decent chance you would get a little bit lower, but it's not going to be like earth shattering. You know, you might be talking a couple of bucks per pack less type thing. Gotcha.
8:24 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
That's I tried to figure out if it's significant, then I'll tag on. If it's not, then I'll just separate it out. So they deal with them, and I deal with mine, and we don't have to talk to each other. Not that we don't like to talk to each other, but.
8:36 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
I think rather than like the significant price increase, the value add would be that, you know, your two sites are using the same QC lot. And that way, if you guys have any issues, you can troubleshoot monks yourselves. Whereas if you order your own, you know, you're going to have your own lot, and they're going to have their own lot. But it does look like from a pricing perspective, it's not going to, you know, not going to be anything like groundbreaking. All right. All All right. right. All right.
9:00 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
So good. I will bring this up, too. I won't know the answer until after the holiday scene. I'm going to be off the rest of the week.
9:10 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Okay. But I'll touch base with you.
9:12 - Tran, ThanhThao (Mayo Clinic)
I think we meet again next Monday, and then I'll talk to them. I'll bring up to the consultant, and we'll talk to them. When I find out the answers, I will reach out to you. Okay? Perfect. Well, I'll send these over to you now, so you'll have them.
9:27 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Thank you so much. Yeah, I appreciate it. Enjoy Michigan. Thank you. You'll enjoy your Thanksgiving, too, okay? All right. Bye. All right. Bye.
