Hi Daved, I had a chance to review with the team and will add feedback to each below in Green. Let us know what we can do from here. There is a link in my signature if you want to book a time to connect and go in more detail. One option is to choose less analytes. Does that change the cost? Yes, the glucuronide form of the analytes you chose are pretty pricy so removing some would lower the cost. Alternatively we can also change to the free form of these hormones as that also lowers the cost. The testing lab is unlikely to be able to tell the difference as they normally only measure for the free form anyway after they conduct hydrolysis. What if we were to provide the urine and you were to spike, for example, only the estradiol glucuronide? Can you give me a cost estimate of that alone? This would not work. Mainly due to our quality standards we would not accept outside urine for use in our process. Also if you sent us urine you would need to provide the starting concentration of each hormone in the urine for us to calculate to achieve target values (we would obtain a 24 hour collection from a known patient, split the specimen, submit the original to the labs for baseline evaluations, send half the urine to UTAP to spike, you'd spike, then send the urine back to us for us to ship to both labs under a different name.
