To recap; • We are unable to lower the volume of this order as it is currently at our minimum order size of 50mL per level • The change in our blood is purely regulatory/labeling. The actual blood used is the same as we always have • We will ensure enough material is sent for the 3rd party testing so there is no delay. We will send the quote over once completed. Our order volume will change to half of our previous order due to a change in our sampling procedure! We are sticking with the same concentrations. Whole Blood Matrix Blank Calibrator 1 = 2.5 ug/dL Calibrator 2 = 10 ug/dL Calibrator 3 = 20 ug/dL Calibrator 4 = 40 ug/dL Calibrator 5 = 60 ug/dL Therefore, we will need 50 of the 0.5 mL aliquots of each calibrator and of the matrix blank. I do recall seeing an email come through about a change in Whole Blood Matrix Blank process as we request Third Party Testing on all levels, including the blank. Our reasoning is that the blank is the basis for all calibrator levels and we would like it verified that the blank is a suitable blank. Please refresh my memory with the update UTAK has made in regards to the blank. Also, for Third Party Testing, please send more than 1 aliquot of each level to save time if more sample is required.
