Hi René,
Thanks again for sharing those lot numbers and giving us insight into your experience with the 7-amino QC products. I checked in with our technical team, and here’s what was found and informed to me:
7-amino analytes naturally have some stability challenges in human matrices, which can lead to lot-to-lot variability. Because of this, we typically don’t claim thawed stability for these analytes in custom products. To help mitigate degradation, we recommend packaging materials containing 7-amino compounds in small, single-use aliquots. This reduces the number of freeze–thaw cycles and helps maintain performance over time.
It sounds like you may already be handling them carefully, but it’s a good practice to continue working with them in small, thawed portions rather than larger volumes that are reused across several days.
I hope this sheds light on why you may see differences between lots. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like us to review handling tips together or explore other packaging options to optimize stability.
Best regards,
