Government Scientific Source - 2026 Pricing Packet - ID:UTL
Sep 18, 2025 04:30 PM
Dear Supplier Partner, You should have received an email from Government Scientific Source about two weeks ago requesting updated contact information for your company and informing you of the upcoming price change process for Government Scientific Source. You are receiving this letter because you have been identified as the contact for pricing updates. If you are not the correct individual in your company responsible for pricing, please enter the information here at your earliest convenience. If you are a partner on our ECAT contract, we would like to take a moment to remind you that this federal contract limits our price increases to no more than 10% per SKU If any price increases impact our ability to host the items on ECAT, we will reach out to discuss in more detail. For our GSA partners , we may require a Pricing Justification Letter(s) or additional documentation as we navigate GSA's ever-evolving marketplace requirements. A price justification letter is a document, provided on your letterhead, that explains in broad terms what factors are driving any increases. GSS will provide this letter to the contracting officer as part of our submission with the price changes. We will reach out to request a pricing justification letter if one is determined necessary. Attached to this email is your GSS 2026 price file. This file contains all the items that are currently active in our system. The pricing process is an opportunity to: • Validate/Update correct pricing and key data fields, • Add missing or new parts, • Remove discontinued, old, or obsolete parts. There are 4 worksheets on the file: 1. Instructions- Please read and follow the instructions on this worksheet to complete this file 2. Vendor Input- Please review all items in the file and ensure that all fields are accurate without any data omissions. Please make sure to confirm accuracy of Country of Origin (COO). Please correct any erroneous data. 3. New Item Set up- If you have items that are not listed in the second tab please complete this tab. 4. UNSPSC- This tab is used for reference to complete any missing data in column U of the Vendor input tab. Please return your price filer to GSS no later than October 11 unless your distribution agreement specifies otherwise. If you are returning a price hold for 2026, a response is still required to ensure accurate pricing through GSS. Please review the checklist below for the required items due on October 11: • 2026 Pricing Template (include even if you are returning a price hold for 2026). Government Scientific Source appreciates your support in making the 2026 pricing process as smooth as possible. If you have any questions on the timing or the pricing process, please contact your Category Manager Megan Devine or GSS Pricing or your Supplier Category Manager at GovSci, Megan Devine, mdevine@govsci.com,.
