Hi Brett and Jennie, I realize things may be busy on your end, but your feedback is extremely valuable to us. Before we wrap up outreach, I wanted to check one last time to see if you’d be open to a brief conversation. You can choose a time that works best for you here. If now is not a good time to schedule a call, could you provide replies to the below survey questions? 1. On a scale of 1–10, how satisfied are you with UTAK and why? 8/10 – We’re generally very satisfied with UTAK’s product quality and reliability. Orders arrive on time, and the availability of QC samples for troubleshooting is a valuable support feature. However, the steep price increases over the past few years have impacted our budget planning and raised concerns about long-term affordability. 2. What is the most valuable aspect of our partnership for you? Consistency and reliability. UTAK’s certified negative urine has been dependable for our control preparations, and your responsiveness in providing QC samples when needed has helped us maintain operational continuity. 3. Are there any areas you would like to see us improve? Pricing transparency and cost control. The unit price has more than doubled since 2020, and while we understand market pressures, a clearer breakdown or justification of these increases would help us better plan and justify the expense internally. 4. Have you adopted any new testing methods or instruments recently, or plan to in the near future? We currently use Beckman for screening and LC-MS/MS for confirmation. Looking ahead, we plan to expand into drug testing using hair samples, which may require new control materials and support. 5. What metrics do you track to measure our impact on your business? We monitor control preparation, cost per test, and QC performance trends. These metrics help us evaluate the consistency and value of UTAK’s products in our workflow. UTAK’s reliability helps minimize delays and rework, which is a key performance indicator for us. 6. Are there any upcoming projects where UTAK labs can add value? Yes, our upcoming hair drug testing initiative will require new types of controls. UTAK’s expertise in custom control development could be instrumental in helping us launch this program successfully. 7. Do you use any programs like Biorad’s Unity to track your QC performance? If so, what program do you use? We do not use Biorad’s Unity. Instead, we track our QC performance using PowerBI, which allows us to visualize trends and monitor performance metrics across our testing platforms. 8. Do you feel like our pricing is fair, too high, or too low? Currently, the pricing feels too high. The increase from $265 in 2020 to $594 this year is significant and has outpaced inflation. This has become a budgeting challenge despite the product’s quality. 9. Would you recommend UTAK to another lab? Why or why not? Yes, we would recommend UTAK based on product reliability, consistent delivery, and responsive customer support. While pricing is a concern, the overall quality and service make UTAK a trusted partner in our operations. Thank you,
