Thank you for your message and for sharing what would be helpful in clarity.
To address your concern: the minimum usage volume you referenced does indeed represent our baseline production commitment. Unfortunately, as this product is no longer offered as a stock item, the efficiencies typically gained through batch manufacturing are no longer available. As a result, the pricing does not benefit from those economies of scale, even with the guaranteed volume you have outlined (again, as this is our minimum usage and cost breaks are provided with larger amounts).
We certainly appreciate the challenge this presents, but given the circumstances, the current pricing reflects the actual production costs associated with maintaining this minimum amount.
We would also encourage you to connect with the end user to confirm whether this is indeed their intended usage, and to explore if they may have any additional product needs that we could potentially absorb or manufacture on their behalf. Should there be new business opportunities identified, I would be able to escalate a request for a one-time discount, as well as note that larger volumes purchased at a singular time allow us to extend more favorable pricing.
