Thanks so much for taking the time to reply and sharing this insight! We have a guide to help labs who make their own in house QC’s with some tips and cautions from our experience. I am attaching it and hope it adds some value to you. I have so many questions but will try to limit it to the more relevant ones. I had an opportunity to tour the Milwaukee Medical exam office and was impressed by all I saw and learned there.
• When you say other tissues- can you elaborate? Is this other liquid matrices, or are you drug spiking actual tissue like skin or liver?
• What organic solvent do you use? Is it methanol or do you have multiple mixtures in different solutions?
• Do you make 1 high level stock to use for all your in house materials, or how many different preps do you do?
