RE: COT+ 1 S LC

Hi Michele,
We wanted to provide more explanation around the reported baseline results and next steps for Sample 2355. The baseline results received are within the normal expected range for endogenous levels of DHEA in human serum. We intentionally source serum from demographics with naturally low DHEA levels to achieve baseline results as close as possible to the Level 1 target value.
Generally, when the baseline value is higher than the target value, we would dilute the serum down in the manufacturing process to achieve the requested target concentrations. In reviewing all previous manufactured lots of this part number this has been the standard manufacturing process as DHEA baseline values are routinely between 100 -110 ng/dL.
Because of this, our recommendation is to proceed with use of Sample 2355 and UTAK will dilute the serum to achieve the desired final concentrations.
Regarding the COT+ 1 S LC, our team will share this with you on Monday at the latest.
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Best,
Raleigh
