Joshua Kitzmann - October 14 VIEW RECORDING: https://fathom.video/share/v7ArxpCo3hSVEo_ud1GWXUCa3GyN7Ndt Introductions and context setting @ 0:00 The meeting participants introduced themselves, with Raleigh, Nicole, and Aline from UTAK Laboratories providing background on their roles. They noted there had been some back-and-forth between the companies that they wanted to clarify. Clarifying order details and issues @ 0:10 Aline summarized the orders UTAK had received from LabCorp, including a canceled order and a new order for 20 gallons. Joshua from LabCorp explained that the initial 50-gallon order did not pass validation testing on the clinical side or the forensic side, so they needed to place a new 50-gallon order for validation samples. He also confirmed the need for the separate 20-gallon order for the forensic side. Resolving sample size discrepancy @ 3:35 Nicole from UTAK noted that their standard part number does not include a 500 mL sample size, only 10 mL samples. Joshua suggested UTAK could send a 1-gallon sample instead, which the group agreed would work well. Streamlining order processing @ 5:00 Joshua explained that the back-and-forth on the orders had been challenging, as the corporate team at LabCorp was handling the order entry and communication. He asked UTAK to work directly with the corporate team, Luann in particular, on any issues or updates to the orders. Recap and next steps @ 6:56 The group summarized the key outcomes, with UTAK agreeing to update the existing order to include a 1-gallon sample. They thanked each other for the productive discussion and agreed to continue working together to fulfill the orders. Joshua Kitzmann - October 14 VIEW RECORDING - 8 mins (No highlights): https://fathom.video/share/v7ArxpCo3hSVEo_ud1GWXUCa3GyN7Ndt --- 0:00 - Kitzmann, Joshua Good morning. Yes, I can. Wonderful. How are you doing? Good. How are you? Good. Good. 0:06 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories) Thanks for asking. Thanks for hopping on a call today, too. We were just hoping to clarify some points since there seemed to be, you know, a significant back and forth. So we just want to make sure that we're on the same page and delivering as you need as well. We actually have a separate thread going, too. So I'm hopeful that this is able to help clarify some of that. And so, Aline, I know that you've been stewarding a number of our conversations with Josh. But before we get to that and before I ask you to dive in, we'll do a quick round of introductions on our end since likely, Josh, this may be the first time meeting some of us. So my name is Raleigh. I'm in customer care. I've been with UTAK for five years, even though I'm a bit new in SEAT. And so I'll turn it over to you, Nicole. Hi, I'm Nicole Miller. I'm the director of engineering. 0:56 - Nicole Miller So I received product design and then also quality assurance. And my name's Aline. 1:03 - Aline Arias I'm the person that you've been emailing with, as well as my colleague, Tay, and so I'm Customer Success Lead, so I'll be taking care of you and your orders and any issue that you might have that'll come through me first. Good to meet you. 1:20 - Kitzmann, Joshua Aline, would I be able to – oh, sorry, go ahead, Josh. Go ahead. 1:24 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories) I was going to ask you, Aline, if you could just give just a bit of a recap on our end, Aline, of kind of just the back and forth so we can get our bearings with the call today. 1:38 - Aline Arias Yeah, so I think a lot of the questions that we have on UTAK's side are because we did see a couple of orders coming in through you guys' end that were for, I think, the big gallons of urine, the LC, LCLIN, a part number that we have for you guys. And so more than anything, we're just trying to make sure. I know that we had one order that was canceled via the sample approval form, and then they did ask us to update the PO number to that canceled order on a new open one that you had. So we were kind of wondering maybe if what you had needed was more of a remake rather than needing to place an entirely new order. So that's kind of what we're trying to do here, too, because we see that you are also having a new order for those 20 gallons, quote, needed to be created for that. So more than anything, we're just trying to make sure that we're aligned and understanding what it is that you need in particular. Well, we originally ordered 50. 2:42 - Kitzmann, Joshua We got the validation sample in, and it didn't pass our clinical side. So clinical sent it over to the forensic side to test it, see maybe if they could use it on their side, and then told me to order another 50 on top for the clinical side. So it didn't pass the forensic side either. So, they went ahead and canceled that order, and we're trying to get a new validation sample in that second batch for 50, and that's not normally how I work it. Somebody else got involved and just threw everything off. So, I apologize for that. On top of that, the other order for 20 gallons is the forensic side. So, we do need the 20-gallon, and we do need the 50-gallon. Does that make sense? Yeah. 3:35 - Nicole Miller So, if I can jump in here, too. So, I think the issue that we're having with the 20-gallon order is the request for the 500-mil sample, but that order is for our stock part number, where we're not able to make the larger validation sample fill size. Like, we already make pre-made validation samples to send or samples to test that are only 10 mils. So, that's our confusion, too, is that the alkaline part number... has the 500 mil sample. Our stock part number does not have a 500 mil sample. We were confused, too, to make sure that that was not redundant of wanting to order the Elklin part number again. No, we needed that other part number validation sample. 4:17 - Kitzmann, Joshua I mean, could you send a one gallon and charge us? Yeah, I mean, I think that could be an option. 4:24 - Nicole Miller So generally, stock part... Yeah, if that's an option, I think that that works for both ends. I think that's the easiest for both. And that'd be more than enough to use. So, Aline, that sales order number I see is 56769. That right now we have it set up with the samples, so we just have to change that to be an additional line to just be the full gallon quantity of one, but then allocate all the same lot number. Yeah, of course. 4:56 - Aline Arias Yep. All right. So, think that results... 5:00 - Kitzmann, Joshua I just do the order entry and everything goes to corporate. And then they're supposed to take care of all this stuff. So the back and forth is really back and forth. It's back and forth between them and me and then them and you. And then they just said, you know what, you handle the rest of it, Josh. And I'm like, grandma best. 5:20 - Nicole Miller That would be super appreciated. 5:21 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories) And look, you know, the point of this call wasn't to point fingers in any way. This is quite common, right? And so we just figured, hey, like, let's hop on a call, too. Plus, it's lovely to meet you. So that's like an added benefit. But if you ever need us to connect directly with someone else, don't be shy about, you know, sending them our way if you're not the appropriate resource to. But it sounds like we have what we need to be able to deliver for you. Aline, is there anything else outstanding that we weren't able to answer? I don't think so. 5:52 - Aline Arias I mean, pretty much we wanted to be sure of that sample and what they needed. And so we've now got the full story. There's two different labs that we're fulfilling, so it makes a lot more sense, the confusion there too. So I'm glad that we had this call. Do you have any more questions, Josh? Yeah, that clinical side is extra picky. 6:12 - Kitzmann, Joshua It can't have anything in it whatsoever. So that's what happens. So they tested something in it, acetaminophen, and then there it is. So I know that the process is normally that they'd send in that slip of paper back to you, that validation approval, but they didn't for some reason. So they put that on my lap, and I didn't know that, and I'm just crazy. I'm sorry, I apologize. 6:38 - Nicole Miller No, no. 6:40 - Kitzmann, Joshua Well, that's like, what timing? 6:41 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories) Because I feel like October to the end of the calendar year is always wild anyways. So you're in high demand, it seems. 6:51 - Nicole Miller Yep. But that's all I have for today. 6:54 - Kitzmann, Joshua Yeah, well, really appreciate it. 6:56 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories) It's so nice to meet you. We'll get to work on the back end. Yeah, and just thank you so much again, and have a beautiful day. 7:03 - Kitzmann, Joshua And just touch base with that other group, the corporate group, that EMRPO group, I think it's their email. Oh, with Luann, right? 7:12 - Aline Arias Luann. They handle everything. 7:14 - Kitzmann, Joshua So whatever comments you need, whatever, they're the only ones that can add it to the comments and the PO. I don't have any control over that. So if there's any problems, anything going on with those POs, you tell them first and they'll tell me. Does that make sense? Yes. Yeah. 7:30 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories) And that's very helpful to you to know, you know, which are the appropriate channels if we need to go back as well. 7:36 - Kitzmann, Joshua Beautiful. 7:37 - Raleigh Gallina (UTAK Laboratories) All right. That's all I got. Right? Awesome. All right. Have a great one. Thank you so much. guys. Thank you so much. Likewise.
