Subject: Technical Issue Report – DAU 2 ID (D5903)
Dear all,
My name is Jorge Brantes, Technical-Commercial Advisor at Inmunodiagnóstico LTDA., based in Santiago, Chile. I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to report a technical issue identified with the product DAU 2 ID – Drugs of Abuse Level 2 (D5903).
Several of our clients have reported inconsistencies in the detection of the THC analyte when using this control in rapid tests, including both AllTest brand devices and other commercial brands. Attached you will find photographic evidence of the results obtained, corresponding to both our clients’ tests and the internal evaluations performed by our technical team.
It is important to emphasize that the reconstitution and use procedures were carried out strictly according to the technical insert instructions, ruling out any methodological error in the preparation or handling of the control material. The tests were performed using six different vials, one of which was used directly by our clients.
For your reference, we have also attached the quotations and purchase documents corresponding to the units ordered and received. The lot in question is D5903, with an expiration date of 2027-04-30.
Please note that this issue is limited exclusively to the THC analyte, as no irregularities have been observed in the other analytes tested.
We kindly request your prompt review of this matter and any technical feedback or corrective guidance you may provide.
Best regards.
