Updating agreement with Siemens @ 0:00
Raleigh Gallina from UTAK Laboratories asked the Siemens team for the best contact to reach out to in order to update the existing agreement between the companies. The Siemens team confirmed that Jim Piacentini is the appropriate contact for this.
Update on Validity 2 R&D batch @ 3:30
Nicole Miller from UTAK Laboratories provided two updates on the Validity 2 project:
• The first R&D batch, which added an antifungal agent to extend the expiration to 24 months, had results come back out of range for creatinine. UTAK plans to make a second batch with a change to the manufacturing process and send it to Siemens for testing.
• The plan is to manufacture the next 6-month expiration batch in early September and send it to Siemens for verification. The current orders from Siemens total 172 vials, and UTAK wants to confirm if this quantity will be sufficient or if more should be produced.
Coordination on upcoming orders @ 6:00
Rema Hashim from Siemens asked when the new 6-month expiration batch from UTAK would be ready to ship, and Nicole confirmed the goal is to have it well in advance of the October 1st order deadline. The Siemens team also agreed to review the upcoming order demand to ensure the 172 vials being produced will be sufficient.
