Our logistics manager, Mariusz, has looked into this and confirmed that the current Incoterms on the DA are FOB, meaning UTAK selects the carrier unless we specify otherwise. The issue is that the shipping quotes we receive aren’t itemised, so we don’t know what’s included (freight, handling, etc.), and the costs seem to vary quite a bit. To get this back on track, we’d like to agree a clearer process moving forward:  If UTAK intends to keep arranging shipment, then the Incoterm should really be DAP (Dorking) to reflect that.  Otherwise, we’d prefer to use our own DHL account, either under EXW or FOB, which would give us control of the courier and costs. Can you confirm which option you’re comfortable with? We’re happy to keep things straightforward, but the current setup just isn’t workable from a cost point of view.
