This helps with their 4-hour turnaround time for emergency room samples. She discussed the process of verifying the use of the controls as calibrators, including sending them to a different lab for comparison. Pricing and ordering process @ 9:12 Raleigh offered that if UTAK's pricing ever becomes cost-prohibitive, the UTAK team is open to brainstorming solutions. Alice noted the current pricing is reasonable, but the need to send calibrators to Quest every 6 months may increase their usage and require ordering larger quantities to last a full year.
