Thank you for your note and for continuing to advocate for UTAK with the customer. I’m sorry for the delay in my reply - it looks like I initially missed your message, and I wanted to circle back now with the revised quote attached for quick reference.
We completely understand and share your concern about the customer’s potential move toward in-house testing and the impact that could have on ongoing standards usage.
That said, we’d appreciate a bit more guidance from your side before proceeding further. Specifically, are you asking whether the customer is open to the most recent quoted price, or is this request for deeper discounting? If the latter, could you please share the exact price level the customer would find acceptable?
Once we have that clarity, we can review what flexibility may be possible. If we do proceed with a revision, it’s important that the customer understands this would be a one-time, good-faith adjustment, as our production and material costs fluctuate annually.
