Thanks so much for the quick update and feedback — totally understand your position.
I can offer a 15% discount if that helps make this work on your end. Since this is a replacement for a discontinued product, we’re happy to do what we can to get a little closer on pricing.
Another option to consider: I saw that you ordered 10 packs of this control in 2024. Was that all for the same customer? If you can confirm how many packs they’d use over a two-year period, I can revise the quote accordingly. A higher volume commitment would allow us to significantly reduce the per-pack price.
Let me know which of these options sounds best, or if there’s another approach that makes more sense.

The customer will not be placing an order for this.
Previously this would have cost us $222
On the quotation the product is now $3.254.60 + $630 shipping and handling.
They are not prepared to pay this.
