Invoice issue and packaging discusion
Nov 04, 2025 09:54 PM
Hi Lin,
Apologies for this invoice error. We will have our team credit this and send it your way once completed. Regarding the more robust packaging, is there any specific coolers you have seen work well? If you can share a link to them, photo, or similar info that would be really helpful. My assumption is additional cost would likely be passed on but I’ll review with our team and see what kind of cost share we can work out. The handling fee does include the cost of packaging.
We have looked into the ice packs before but they don’t get cold enough to meet our storage conditions and have not been validated for use.
Allow me a few days to connect with the team and I’ll get back to you on cost-share. In the meantime if there is any coolers you can recommend we would love to know.
Thank you,
Andrew Hartmann

Subject: RE: Invoice query - Dry ice packing options and fees
Hi Andrew,
I noticed that a dry ice fee of $60 has been applied to shipment PO00040776, as shown in the attached invoice #71720. As you kindly mentioned in your previous email that this fee would be waived, would it be possible to issue a credit note for this charge?
Regarding the use of more robust coolers for shipping, that sounds like a great approach. We’ve received similar packaging from other U.S.-based suppliers for dry ice shipments as well and there have been no damages. Could you please confirm whether the cost of these coolers is included in the handling fee for the shipment? Or if there are some passed on cost, could you advise on the proposed cost-sharing arrangement or percentage?
Lastly, if product stability allows, would it be feasible to ship using cool packs instead of dry ice? We will ensure the items are stored at -80°C immediately upon arrival.
Thanks
Lin
