Thanks for your note and for sharing the historical reference. I understand the customer’s expectation around ~$410 and your 2022 record of $326.08. We completely understand how important it is to keep pricing as consistent as possible, especially for long-term customers.
Unfortunately, this is indeed our current distributor pricing. Over the past six years, we’ve intentionally held the cost of defibrinated plasma steady to support our distributors and maintain stability in the market, even as our production and raw material expenses continued to rise. We’ve done our best to absorb those increases for as long as possible, but we’ve reached a point where we’re no longer able to continue suppressing the cost without impacting sustainability.
I want to emphasize that this adjustment isn’t taken lightly - it reflects the cumulative changes in manufacturing, compliance, and supply chain factors over the years. We’ve worked hard to keep the increase as modest as possible while maintaining the same level of quality and reliability that you and your customers expect from UTAK.
Please know that we truly value our partnership and the trust you’ve placed in us. If it would be helpful, I’d be glad to review potential options, such as volume-based discounts or forward planning to help your customers manage the transition more smoothly.
