Introduction and Next Steps – South Korea Partnership Discussion

Hello Young, Claire, and Velli:
I’m pleased to make this introduction and open the lines of communication. UTAK has been in contact with our South Korean distributor, Dae Shin, who has kindly agreed to begin discussions with Abacus regarding responsibilities for import and product registration in South Korea.
For context:
• Abacus dx cannot act as the in-country representative for South Korea, as they are not based there.
• Similarly, Abacus is not the in-country representative for Australia; Emergo Asia Pacific is the Australian sponsor for UTAK.
• Abacus can, however, act on behalf of Emergo/UTAK by exporting product from Australia. To complete the pathway, UTAK requires a partner in South Korea - in this case Dae Shin - to assume responsibility for import and product registration locally.
We’d like to confirm if this arrangement is feasible, as Abacus has begun receiving additional quote requests and we want to ensure the correct framework is in place.
Claire and Velli — could you please clarify your desired next steps, and let us know if anything represented above is inaccurate or requires further input?
