Doing great. I'm trying to keep warm. It's getting cold over here. Where are you located? I'm in St. Louis. Oh, in St. Louis.
0:09 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
Well, we're in San Diego, so it's actually nice and sunny.
0:13 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
I was going to say, I see you with your vest on, so I have to assume it's got to be below 75. We're just freezing to death here at 75.
0:22 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
And once they hit 70, everyone wears Uggs in California.
0:27 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Yeah, I moved to California, like, 17 years ago from Missouri, and my first winter out there was amazing. I wore shorts and a T-shirt every day. It felt great. By my second winter, it was 75, and I found myself in a hoodie and a beanie, and I was like, what has happened to me? And then in the summer, if it gets over 80, you're going to die.
0:48 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
They got this thing here in the Midwest called humidity.
0:50 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
You guys wouldn't know about it, but it's terrible. I hear you. Are you able to see my screen? Are
1:01 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
I think so. It's a little small, so I'll try scrolling over.
1:04 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Formatting on these quotes makes it a little hard to share. Yeah, okay. We got two options we quoted out. So we quoted one in bulk 50 ml bottles for you guys to do your own aliquoting, and then we did another option where we do that aliquoting for you. So the part numbers are here on the left. If you wanted to place an order, this would be the part numbers that you place on the order. The way that we're going to package it is in 50 ml bottles. So we did two order quantities just to kind of show you guys what our pricing breaks is like. So minimum order size is one, and that's going to be your pricing per pack. We have your extended pricing here, and then your grand total with everything including shipping. And then if you guys double that order size, you'll see there's a very little difference in pricing. It's only about 400 bucks more to double the order size. That's a no brainer. Yeah, so the way like kind of the pricing works, it's the fixed cost. and then the additional cost for the extra material. So, you know, volume-wise, the higher you guys go up, the better of a per vial price you're going to get. We're doing creatinine. We do not have stability data for it in our SMX urine, so we're not able to offer a guarantee. It's not that we don't think it's going to work. It's just, like, FDA requirements for offering stability guarantees. we don't have the testing data of creatinine in SMX urine. But for the calibration levels, we have your concentration spelled out here. So this is what we will be making each one of them at, concentration-wise. One thing to note is we'll start with our standard SMX urine, but just like we did for your other custom product, we're going to be omitting creatine. So your initial concentration will be zero, and then we'll be able to control the spike for each of the other levels. This will be a frozen product, so you're going to store it in the freezer. Typical thought stability we see on creatinine, we usually say, is about 25 days. Again, we just can't make Make a claim because of the SMX not being a real human. Lead time, once you place the order, you'd be looking at about 15 business days, and expiration for the product would be two years, so pretty good expiration. Story minus 10, okay.
3:16 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
Any questions kind of about this initial quote? So for you to file it, what would the additional cost be? Perfect. So that's going to be this quote here.
3:26 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
So slightly different part numbers here, just so we can signify the difference between the design. If we're doing the aliquots, we would do a 2 mil fill size. You'd get 25 of those in a box, so that same 50 ml. And you're looking at a total of 13.5 for the minimum order size and about 14.3 for the larger order size. And that's going to accommodate, you know, the extra packaging and labor to package it. So if we kind of look at 13.5..5. About $500 to Alec Plott at the first size, and a little over $1,000 at the larger size. But with that, you're getting FDA-approved labels. Each one of those labels is going to have UDI on them, completely professional packaging and boxing. Okay.
4:23 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
And then it'll have to be shipped on dry ice then, right? Stay frozen? Frozen product's correct. Yeah, we'll ship dry ice. And I can't recall from the first time, did you use our FedEx account information, do you recall?
4:38 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Or did you supply it? You know, we can use it. I don't know that we have it on hand, but if you send it over to me, I can have these updated to ship on your account. All right. Okay.
4:48 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
And then is PO, issue a PO, okay for this?
4:51 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Yep, exactly. So we would just want a PO and, you know, to know which design you want and the total quantity. Okay. All right. That's perfect.
5:00 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
Awesome.
5:02 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Do you think you'd want to go with the bulk option or the aliquot option?
5:11 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
So what is it? What are the vials in? Or like, what is the product in? What kind of vials or what kind of bottles are they? So if you bulk it out at two mils, is it a two mil screw cap vial?
5:23 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
I would never put two mil in a two mil vial because when you freeze it, the expansion will pop the top off. So we chose to use a 4 ml amber glass vial and then a white septic cap with yellow labels. We do have flexibility. So if there is a specific vial type that you guys would prefer to see it in, we can update it to, you know, whatever vial you'd like. If you'd like to see the different levels at different colors of labels or something like that, we have five label colors to choose from. One, two, three. I'm not too concerned about label colors.
5:56 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
So why did you select glass vials by changing? That would be part of our quoting team's evaluation.
6:04 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Usually they look at literature, our experience, and then choose based on that what they think the best biotype would be. I couldn't tell you the science behind it. If you wanted a more technical answer, I can connect with them.
6:18 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
I'm concerned because when we bought the zero creatinine, came in plastic, amber plastic, so that's why I asked.
6:26 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Yeah, we could probably switch it if that's the case, if you have a preference for that, but...
6:30 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
I mean, if it's, you know, if it's not going to affect the cost at all, then that's fine. I'm just, I always worry about, you drop a plastic vial, you can pick it back up, you drop a glass vial, and you're going to soak it back up. No, definitely hear that.
6:45 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
If you'd like, I could reach out to them and, you know, see if there was a reason and find out if they can make an updated quote with the switch to plastic to see how that price is out. So, okay, that would be a good place.
6:56 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
And we're going to go forward with this. We just have to... Finalize some of the details. Awesome.
7:03 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Well, I will – I'll reach out to our quoting team. I'll go ahead and send these over to you now just so you can, you know, check them out, and then I'll have them issue another option in a plastic, or I'll come back to you and let you know why they think plastic isn't going to work. Okay. Yeah. Perfect.
7:19 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
Awesome. Any other questions?
7:20 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Anything I can answer for you while you have me? And you're saying about 15 business days?
7:26 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
Yes. Once you received the PO?
7:29 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Correct. What I saw? Yeah. That would be correct. Okay. All right. Okay. We tend to run a little ahead of that, but that's kind of a worst case scenario. All right. Perfect. Yeah.
7:39 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
Send that over. can take a look at it and just get some of that info for me and we'll pull this trigger pretty quick. Awesome.
7:46 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Well, appreciate your time connecting for the review. Well, enjoy your winter.
7:51 - Vaughn Ostland (Intrinsic LifeSciences)
Have a good Thanksgiving.
7:53 - Andrew Hartmann (UTAK Laboratories)
Take care. You too. Bye. Bye. Bye.
